For over a year, our three coliving properties — Co404 Oaxaca, San Cristóbal and Medellín — ran on Mangobeds, a general hospitality platform. It handled the basics well enough, but nothing on the market treated dorm beds, long coliving stays, volunteer teams and guest community as first-class instead of an afterthought bolted onto hotel software. So we built the PMS we needed and moved our own properties onto it first, staff and volunteers included. Co404 Oaxaca
The original Co404 property, and the first one ever run on Travel404 end to end.
Co404 Oaxaca is a coliving hostel with mixed and private dorms, daily family dinners, weekly group activities and a rotating team of volunteers. It ran on Mangobeds for over a year before moving to Travel404, and it's still the property new features get tested on first — including event pricing built specifically because Día de Muertos multiplies room rates by roughly ten every year here, and the math has to hold up per night, not on average.

Co404 San Cristóbal
The second Co404 location, run from the same login as Oaxaca and Medellín.
Staff and volunteers move between Co404's three properties, so San Cristóbal runs on the same multi-property setup as the other two — one login, switch location, see that property's own calendar, tasks and roster. Housekeeping and shift scheduling carry the same volunteer turnover Oaxaca has, since teams here change every few weeks too.

Co404 Medellín
The newest of the three Co404 coliving spaces, and the one with the longest average stays.
Medellín leans further into long-stay coliving than the Mexico properties — guests often book by the month rather than the night. It runs on the same long-stay pricing logic and direct booking engine as the rest of Co404, with zero commission on bookings that come straight from the website.

Maka Hostel
An independent hostel that found Travel404 on its own — not a Co404 property.
Maka Hostel runs mixed dorms, a female-only dorm and private rooms in its main building, plus a separate building next door, Villa Sol. It distributes across Booking.com, Hostelworld and Airbnb through the channel manager, with every channel kept in sync from one calendar instead of three separate extranets.

Common questions
Are these real customers, or marketing examples?
Real. Three of the four are Co404's own coliving properties — the founder runs them, and Travel404 was built to run them. Maka Hostel is an outside operator running Travel404 independently. We don't publish invented testimonials.
Why does the founder run his own hostels on his own software?
Because that's the order it happened in. Co404 ran on another PMS for over a year, hit its limits, and Travel404 was built to fix that — the properties came first, the product came second.
Can I talk to someone who actually runs a hostel before I switch?
Yes. Demos are done by the founder, not a sales rep. He'll talk through your dorm setup, your OTA mix and whatever's currently annoying you, using the same system that runs his own properties.
