Every role sees exactly what it should
30+ granular permissions, per location, per role. An owner running three properties can give a volunteer at one of them exactly the access that job needs — nothing more.

Five roles, one rulebook
Admin, manager, staff, volunteer, cleaning — or your own
Travel404 ships with admin, manager, staff, volunteer and cleaning-staff roles, each with sane defaults. Need something else? Build a custom role and toggle each of the 30+ permissions by hand.
- Admin, manager, staff, volunteer
- Custom roles, fully toggleable
- 30+ individual permission keys
- Role level caps what staff can grant
-
One person, three properties
Permissions live per location, not per person
The same person can be a manager at one property and have no access at another — every role, and every permission, is granted per location, not globally.
- Different role at each property
- No accidental cross-property access
- Add existing users to a new location
- Or invite a brand-new one by email

Down to the single toggle
Permissions built around real hostel jobs
Not org-chart categories — specific, real actions a hostel team actually does or doesn't want everyone touching.
-
Money-specific gates
See a balance, issue a refund, waive a fee, hard-delete a transaction — each its own toggle.
-
Temporary access
Give a seasonal volunteer a start date and an expiry date instead of a permanent account.
-
Nav-level control
Hide whole tabs — Finance, Channels, Reports — from a role that has no business in them.
-
Level-capped promotions
Nobody can promote a user above their own role level, even with the users permission.

Common questions
Can the same person have different access at two of my properties?
Yes — every role and every permission is granted per location. A manager at one property can be locked out entirely at another.
What if none of the built-in roles fit?
Create a custom role and toggle any of the 30+ permissions individually — nothing is hardcoded to a role name.
Can I give someone access for just the season?
Yes — set a start date and an expiry date when you add them, instead of a standing account you have to remember to remove.
Can a manager promote themselves to admin?
No — role changes are capped at the level of the person making the change, so nobody can elevate above themselves.
